Supplier Enablement Manager

At SDI, we are dedicated to transforming indirect supplier management for global enterprises. We are expanding our Supplier Enablement team and seeking a dynamic Supplier Enablement Manager to lead onboarding activities, ensure compliance with industry standards, and maintain operational excellence across our global network. This is a high-impact role that requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of procurement and vendor onboarding processes.

The Supplier Enablement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supplier onboarding process for Tier 2 suppliers across all global regions through multiple service centers. This includes direct interaction with suppliers, clients, senior management, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless, compliant and efficient enablement processes. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset, capable of managing a portfolio of onboarding projects while leading a high-performing team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SDI’s global Supplier Enablement operations across multiple service centers.
• Supervise enablement staff, ensuring effective task coordination among team leaders, approvers, and enablement agents.
• Act as the primary escalation point for supplier onboarding-related issues, resolving client and supplier concerns with urgency and professionalism.
• Maintain and continuously improve SDI’s supplier enablement processes, ensuring alignment with current industry standards and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee key control points, including supplier screening, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, bank account validation, and company registration—ensuring accurate documentation as per internal playbooks.
• Collaborate with internal leadership through regular status updates and performance reporting.
• Monitor and ensure achievement of internal and client KPIs related to supplier onboarding timelines, quality, and compliance.
• Manage the supplier enablement portfolio to ensure data integrity and accuracy for reporting purposes. Provide regular reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually) to upper management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier enablement, vendor onboarding, or procurement operations—preferably in a global or enterprise-level environment.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional enablement teams and managing onboarding initiatives for large organizations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies in supplier enablement.
• Hands-on experience in process development and implementation for supplier enablement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
• Capable of building strong relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, etc.)
• Familiarity with supplier risk assessments and financial vetting processes.
• Project management certification or experience is a plus.
