Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an experienced leader to lead our Development team.

 

What will be your role:

Software Delivery
• Overseeing and guiding the execution of the company’s software development projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, timely completion, and architectural alignment.
• Driving ongoing improvements in development processes, engineering efficiency, and system reliability.

• Defining technical direction and driving the adoption of emerging technologies and modern engineering practices to enhance innovation and competitiveness.
• Monitoring work progress, defining metrics, and reporting.

Leading Development Teams
• Managing the performance, structure, and professional growth of engineering, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Cultivating a high-performance technical culture grounded in modern development practices such as CI/CD, test automation, and agile methodologies.
• Promoting an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing engineering environment.
• Leading by example, fostering ownership, mutual respect, and a culture of continuous learning.
• Driving and overseeing hiring, mentoring, and setting performance goals for software developers, engineers, and team leads.
• Supporting succession planning by identifying high-potential talent.

Cross-Team Coordination
• Leading and coordinating multiple development teams across their management structures.
• Ensuring seamless collaboration between DEV, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Coordinating with IT, business, and other departments.
• Supporting cross-team knowledge sharing and collaboration to break silos and improve overall delivery efficiency.
• Managing the identification of obstacles, responsible parties, and timely resolution.

Planning
• Translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, resource allocation, and delivery milestones.
• Early identification of obstacles and risks, and managing them effectively.
• Resource allocation – moving talent between projects based on shifting company priorities.
• Partnering with the Managing Director on capacity planning, budgeting, and performance reporting.

Coordination with Headquarters
• Collaborating with external teams, including intercompany units and the parent company, to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
- Alignment in delivery, technologies, development strategy (UX, Common UI, etc.), processes, and reporting.
• Serving as the point of contact for topics related to software development operations.
