ERP Support Engineer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

The ERP Support Engineer has a key role in the global ERP team delivering essential services for the daily operations in the plants and supporting functions. This role reports to the Manager ERP. You deliver ERP support to Inalfa employees in offices and plants to ensure smooth operations of the ERP system and associated applications (e.g.: barcode scanning, EDI, interfaces). And you support the implementation of change requests and projects.
What are your main tasks and activities:
- Responsible for supporting the daily operation of the ERP system and related applications. Work closely with business users to investigate and resolve incidents and questions (incident management). And, if needed, escalate to second line support.
- Responsible for daily monitoring (e.g.: jobs, batches, interfaces) of the ERP system and related applications. And, if needed, escalate issues to second line support
- Responsible for handling standard service requests (service request management) for the ERP system and related applications (e.g.: user management). And, if needed, escalate to second line support
- Support the ERP Functional Engineer with the implementation of change requests and projects in the ERP system and related applications
- Support the ERP Technical Engineer with (proactive) maintenance (e.g.: data cleaning, archiving, indexing, job monitoring, patching) of the ERP system and related applications
- Identify limitations or problems in the daily operation of the ERP system and related applications to enable continuous improvement (change and problem management)
- Advise business on the best use of the ERP system and related applications
- Align and communicate with third parties (e.g.: external IT service providers, customers and suppliers)
- Ensure, in close alignment with the business key-users, the quality and availability of documentation for the ERP system and related applications
- Share knowledge and experience within the global ERP team

Požadujeme:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three years of experience with operational support of ERP systems, preferably InforLN.
- Experience in a dynamic global production environment
- Experience in ERP-related business processes (e.g.: Logistics, Procurement, Production, Quality, Sales and Finance)
- Basic technical application development and coding skills
- Basic technical application management knowledge on operating systems, databases and basic networking
- Customer focused and service driven attitude to support the business users in daily operations
- Result-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- You have a proactive attitude and good communication skills
- Fluently English speaking and able to communicate in English with non-native English speakers.
