For our client Automotive – Plastic Injection Molding Company

we are looking for Head of Quality who will be

Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Quality Department in an automotive production plant focused on plastic injection molding and appearance-critical components. Ensures full compliance with IATF 16949 and manages quality across the entire value chain—from incoming inspection to customer delivery.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

1. Quality Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement the overall quality strategy for the plant.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and OEM/Tier 1 and Tier 2customer-specific requirements.
• Define quality KPIs and report performance to senior management.

2. Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the Quality team (IQC, OQC, Customer Quality, Metrology, Lab, Quality Engineers).
• Manage performance, competencies, training (APQP, PPAP, 8D, SPC).
• Promote a strong quality-oriented culture across the organization.

3. Customer Quality Management

• Main contact for customers regarding complaints, audits, and part approvals.
• Lead and validate 8D problem-solving and corrective actions.
• Manage PPAP/PSW submissions and sample approvals for new projects.

4. Process Quality & Production Support

• Control and optimize the quality of plastic injection molding processes.
• Ensure complete and up-to-date PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
• Cooperate with Production and Process Engineering on machine parameters and scrap reduction.
• Oversee quality requirements for appearance-critical and components

5. Supplier Quality

• Evaluate, audit, and develop suppliers of materials, tools, and services.
• Manage supplier complaints and release processes.

6. Audits & Quality System

• Plan and conduct internal audits according to VDA 6.3 and IATF requirements.
• Prepare and support customer and certification audits.
• Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma).

Professional Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in automotive quality.
• Strong background in plastic injection molding processes and appearance parts.
• Experience with injection molding machines is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of quality tools:
• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC
• 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa
• VDA 6.3 / VDA 2
• Proven leadership experience.
