Calculator/Coordinator new Quotes

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

+ Based on technical documentation of the customer you will take below actions, resulting in a complete quote to be send to the customer:

• Assess/study new documentation (drawings and related documents) to prepare any feedback to the customer regarding unclear issues or suggestions for improvement.

• Break down the documentation to the Bill of Material for raw material parts and add these parts to our ERP system.

• Coordinate with sourcing to get pricing for the raw material parts.

• Define the production steps and calculate the time needed to produce the cable/wire harness.

• Define tooling for production and testing.

• Prepare the final quote, including remarks, datasheets, etc. as per need.

+ In India we have a global support team present where we outsource part of the above-mentioned work. Coordinating and checking the outsourced work is part of this function.

+ Coordinate sample build, First Article Inspection, and purchase/production of tooling and testing equipment with the related departments when starting up the new project.

+ Support the other departments in their jobs in case of need or during their absence.

+ Supporting the management in all tasks required to ensure smooth running of the company.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Able to communicate well in English, spoken and written (German is a plus).

• Technical background, by education and/or experience (preferably electro-technical, cables, connectors, mechatronics, etc.).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, to “translate” them into a Bill of Material and to break them down into production steps.

• Willingness and dedication to perform your job in the best way possible.

• Preciseness, pro-active attitude, being able to work independent, and to organize others.

• Decent user knowledge of Windows, Office, and email software.

• A part of the mentioned responsibilities is performed in our ERP software. Experience with this is not required, decent computer skills however are.
