Join our Data Protection team as a Senior Data Protection Specialist, where you will help shape our approach to privacy and data protection. We are looking for an experienced privacy professional with a pragmatic mindset and strong knowledge of data protection law. Partnering with stakeholders across the business, you will provide practical advice, support GDPR compliance, and help teams make informed, risk-based decisions.

##About the Role ##
##Responsibilities: ##

- Act as the company’s senior subject-matter expert on GDPR, data protection law, privacy governance, and privacy compliance within the Data Protection team 
- Independently manage complex data protection and privacy legal projects, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating data protection agreements, joint controller agreements, data processing frameworks, SCCs, TIAs, DPIAs, and related governance measures 
- Independently prepare complex legal analyses and practical risk-based recommendations on data protection risks, regulatory exposure, and compliance strategies 
- Provide tailored legal and data protection guidance to business, IT, security, HR, product, and legal stakeholders on matters with significant impact for the company 
- Advise on privacy by design, data minimization, retention policies, security incident handling and breach notification obligations 
- Support and manage interactions with supervisory authorities, audits, inspections, and potential investigations 
- Monitor developments in EU and international data protection law, including EDPB guidance, supervisory authority practice, and enforcement trends, and identify related risks, opportunities, and required changes 
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve data protection governance, legal processes, templates, policies, and internal procedures, and support their implementation 
- Represent and support the company in negotiations and discussions with customers, vendors, business partners, and other external parties on data protection matters 

##Essential Requirements##

- University degree in Law (Mgr., LL.M. or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of post-graduate legal experience, including a minimum of 3 years focused on data protection, privacy law, GDPR compliance, or privacy governance
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, international data transfers, privacy governance frameworks, privacy by design principles, and regulatory guidance and enforcement trends
- Hands-on experience with GDPR implementation, DPIAs, ROPA, data protection audits, data processing agreements, and privacy compliance programs in an international environment
- Professional proficiency in English (C1), with the ability to work confidently with legal documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to provide clear, practical, and business-oriented advice on complex data protection matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication,
- Strong collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a high level of ownership, integrity, and accountability
- Good understanding of data protection concepts, information security basics, technology-driven processing activities, and regulatory risk management terminology 
- Ability to translate legal and GDPR requirements into practical business, technical, and operational processes 

##Desirable Requirements##

- Experience with privacy compliance in a technology-driven environment is an advantage
- Experience with AI governance
- Familiarity with international data mechanisms
