Buyer - direct procurement

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Buyer to take ownership of direct procurement activities within a stable and growing manufacturing environment.

This is an autonomous Buyer position with end-to-end responsibility across sourcing, negotiation, and material supply for production.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase requirements and managing the full purchasing cycle
• Sourcing new suppliers and evaluating potential vendors
• Comparing and assessing supplier offers to ensure best value
• Leading negotiations on pricing and contract terms
• Creating and managing purchase orders and order confirmations
• Monitoring and coordinating delivery timelines
• Managing material flow to ensure smooth production operations
• Handling supplier evaluations and performance tracking
• Resolving claims, complaints, and order corrections
• Supporting spare parts procurement
• Participating in international procurement activities and projects
• Preparing standard analyses and reports

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• University degree (Master’s) in business, economics, or a technical field
• Around 2 years of experience in procurement, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with direct purchasing is essential
• English (B2) is required; German (A2) is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access (advanced level)
• Experience with warehouse management processes
• SAP experience is a strong advantage
