Data Warehouse (DWH) Analyst | Apache Spark & Power BI

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Warehouse (DWH) Analyst with expertise in Apache Spark and Power BI. This role is critical in enabling data-driven clinical and operational decision-making by integrating and analyzing large, complex healthcare datasets from electronic health records (EHRs), enterprise resource planning (ERPs) and billing systems, and other sources.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark to support data processing.
• Integrate data from multiple clinical and operational systems into a unified Data Warehouse.
• Clean, transform, and standardize structured and unstructured data while ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and other stakeholders to define reporting requirements and develop impactful Power BI dashboards.
• Create data models and visualizations to support patient care analytics, population health, operational efficiency, and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor data flows and perform root-cause analysis on data inconsistencies and failures.
• Document data lineage, definitions, and transformations to support data governance efforts.
• Contribute to the evolution of the organization’s enterprise data strategy and self-service BI initiatives.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a data analytics, BI, or DWH role.
• Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report development.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
• Solid understanding of healthcare data and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clinical and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:
• Proficient in Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala) for big data processing and transformation.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Databricks, or cloud-native Spark platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git).
• Background in performance tuning and data governance.
