Senior Project Purchaser

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

Senior Project Buyer is a new position that will strengthen the existing Strategic Purchasing team. The role involves overseeing procurement activities within project management internationally, from the initial planning stages through to completion, ensuring efficient internal and external cooperation until the project reaches serial production status not only for our plant in Tvrdosin, but also for its remote locations.The primary language of communication is English, but proficiency in German is advantage.

• Management of purchased parts and suppliers in new projects until the start of series production
• Initiation of procurement processes for sample/pre-production parts and tools
• Development of concepts to ensure specified quality standards at suppliers
• Capacity planning with suppliers in coordination with Strategic Purchasing
• Organization of and participation in supplier audits
• Monitoring project target costs using appropriate tools (e.g., target costing, design-to-cost)

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• University education (technical oriented study programme), eventually secondary with relevant experience
• Senior Purchasing experience at least 3 years in Industrial / manufacturing background
• Experience in project management and supplier audits
• Strong technical understanding of materials and processes
• Knowledge of standards: IATF, VDA, ISO: preferred
• Knowledge of SAP: advantage
• Ability to work independent as well as with a team in a remote workplace

Language skills:

• English – Upper Intermediate (B2) required
• German – (oral and written form) advantage
