Test Manager

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

1. Leading and developing the testing team
2. Contributing to the creation and implementation of test strategies and plans
3. Overseeing the entire testing lifecycle across all phases
4. Ensuring the correct definition and execution of test scope based on requirements and strategy
5. Maintaining high testing standards and quality
6. Estimating effort and planning testing resources based on priorities
7. Coordinating all testing activities (e.g., methodologies, test data)
8. Regularly evaluating testing progress and proposing improvements
9. Preparing clear reports and dashboards (test status, defects, risks, etc.)
10. Defining and tracking performance metrics for the testing team
11. Managing incident handling throughout the testing process
12. Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization
13. Supporting the development and maintenance of test automation
14. Driving continuous improvements in testing processes
15. Evaluating team members’ performance and supporting their growth
16. Providing mentoring, training, and professional guidance
17. Overseeing the creation and maintenance of test documentation

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

1. A strong leader who can bring people together and guide the team towards a common goal
2. Experience managing a team of at least 4 testers (2+ years preferred)
3. Good understanding of various testing methodologies and the ability to apply them in practice
4. Solid background in IT and technology
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to handle challenging or stressful situations
6. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
7. Ability to identify gaps and suggest improvements in testing processes and methodologies
8. Proactive mindset and focus on continuous improvement
9. Very good command of English
