Core responsibilities:

• Bring robots to life: Design and prototype electronic components, PCBs, and integrated circuits for our robotic systems.
• Write the code that drives the hardware: Develop low-level firmware (C/C++) and ensure smooth communication between robotic subsystems.
• Experiment and test: Build rough "proof-of-concept" prototypes. We prioritize functionality and quick problem-solving over aesthetic perfection in the testing phase.
• Collaborate: Work closely with a smart team of mechatronics and software engineers to move projects from ideas to deployment.
• See your work in action: Occasionally support onsite deployment and see how your tech works live at customer locations.

Requirements:

• Background: Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience (your portfolio and skills matter more than a diploma).
• Coding skills: Solid practical experience with Low-Level / Embedded Programming (C/C++).
• Hardware knowledge: Hands-on experience with PCB design, electrical circuits, and diagnosing components.
• Communication protocols: Good understanding of standard protocols like I2C, SPI, RS-232, or RS-485.
• Mindset: A hands-on approach, problem-solving drive, and a passion for robotics.
• Languages: Active English (B2) for technical documentation and fluent Slovak.

Nice-to-have (consider it a big plus, not a dealbreaker):

• Experience with servo drives and automation sensors.
• Knowledge of PLC programming or Ethernet TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with preparing hardware for mass production or safety certifications.
