We are looking for s Senior Software Test Engineer to strengthen our quality assurance capability within a large-scale enterprise platform used across multiple countries.

This is a senior-level role with strong ownership, technical depth, and the opportunity to actively mentor and influence the broader engineering team.

As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will contribute to the quality assurance of complex software systems and applications, ensuring delivery aligned with client and business requirements.

You will work in a cross-functional Agile team alongside developers, product owners, designers, and data specialists, directly contributing to product reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of new and existing software products

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks

• Execute system, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools

• Prepare comprehensive test plans (scope, objectives, risks, deliverables)

• Monitor and report qualitative and quantitative test metrics

• Ensure testing is timely, repeatable, and efficient

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation strategy

• Communicate with internal stakeholders and end users to ensure solution accuracy and completeness

• Independently resolve complex technical and application-level issues

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• 8+ years in software testing (manual or automated) or Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in Software engineering
• 5+ years of experience of software testing experience (manual and automation) for large scale enterprise web applications.
• 5+ years of test automation framework design and development experience 
• 5+ years of programming experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python)
• Strong development skills in the following technologies and tools: Cypress, MochaJS
• Strong experience in testing Webservices (REST APIs - Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology
• You communicate in Slovak and English

Preferred Experience

• API automation framework design and maintenance

• CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git)

• Microservices architecture

• SQL and relational databases

• TDD, code reviews, and modern engineering practices

• Load, security, and performance testing

• DevOps tools and concepts

• Experience with Playwright

• API gateways (e.g., Apigee)

• Full-stack and third-party integration testing
