Senior DevOps Engineer – Application Reliability (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the reliable operation and continuous improvement of a complex self-hosted web application platform. The role
combines application-level incident diagnosis, platform operations, CI/CD and infrastructure ownership, and hands-on implementation of improvements.

You’ll be responsible for …
• Operate, maintain and improve a self-hosted web application platform across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Maintain and enhance Linux infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and development toolchains, including Kubernetes, AWS, Jenkins, GitHub and related automation.
• Analyze incoming incidents across application modules, configurations, interfaces, and data flows.
• Identify root causes of issues, distinguishing between user behavior, data/configuration problems, code defects, interface issues and cross-module side effects.
• Resolve recurring incidents independently and implement sustainable fixes and improvements, within Pro-Code, Low-Code, and No-Code.
• Improve reliability, observability, automation and operational transparency of the application platform.
• Identify technical debt, dependency risks and quality issues, and contribute to refactoring and
maintainability initiatives.
• Document findings, solutions and recurring issue patterns to improve team knowledge and reduce repeated incidents.
• Work within our internal AI workflow and grow your AI skills along the way.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Software Development, IT Operations, or a similar role
• Linux knowledge (system administration, shell/python scripting, troubleshooting)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced understanding of software engineering principles
• Strong focus on software quality
• Good communication and moderation skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
