Logistics is often called the "invisible backbone" of the economy. If we do our job right, the world never notices. But behind every shipment, every plane, and every warehouse is a massive, pulsing network of data. That’s where you come in.

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert for Centralized Closing & Data Analytics who loves the "how" as much as the "what." You’ll be the person who ensures our month-end closing is flawless, our master data is pristine, and our reporting tools are actually... well, useful.
This is your chance to move beyond basic reporting and become a true technical owner. You’ll collaborate with Business Intelligence Analysts and Country Controllers across borders to bridge the gap between raw data and smart decisions. We are looking for a navigator, not a passenger - someone who is tech savvy, ownership driven, and possesses the analytical "itch" to take a task from start to finish with accuracy. What You’ll Do:

Centralized Closing Operations

• Execute the Close: Manage the month-end closing cycle, including period management and the execution of fixed cost allocation postings in SAP.
• Process Maintenance: Handle the job closure process and manual tasks for countries with simplified setups, ensuring all data meets our high quality standards.
• Timeline Coordination: Maintain, plan, execute and communicate the closing deadlines to ensure the global team stays aligned.
  

Master Data & Budget Coordination

• Data Integrity: Perform changes and updates to controlling master data, including cost centers, profit centers, and statistical key figures for allocations and HR.
• Budget Support: Coordinate the budget process by maintaining plan allocation cycles, copying budget versions, and supporting regional controllers with technical tool maintenance.
• System Documentation: Keep the budget FX rates and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation up to date, ensuring all planning phases are executed according to the schedule.
  

Data Analytics & Report Ownership

• Key User Support: Act as the Report Owner and SME for defined data analytics reports, ensuring reporting standards and documentation (glossaries, permissions) are accurate.
• System Integration: Support the integration of new IT tools and TMS systems into our data analytics environment.
• Automation & Support: Contribute to the automation of manual processes—such as Agent or Warehouse mapping—and provide first level support by resolving service desk tickets within defined timelines.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Educational Foundation: A University degree in Economics, Logistics, or Accounting.
• Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position (Controller or Analyst), ideally within the logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding sector.
• Technical Proficiency: You are an expert in SAP and MS Excel. Experience with tools like Jasper, Cargo-wise, Salesforce, or Workday is a significant plus.
• Analytical Mindset: You can analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and implement innovative solutions.
• The "Improvement" Mindset: You are digitally literate and committed to continuous improvement, always looking to optimize the status quo.
• Communication: Fluent in English, any other European language is a welcome benefit.
