O pozícii
Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
- Develop and implement a business development strategy focused on profitable growth and long-term sustainability
- Identify, approach, and acquire new customers in target industries and markets (focus on railway industry)
- Drive market expansion initiatives and penetrate new market segments
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with volume, revenue, and budget targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, delivery terms, payment conditions, and contractual agreements
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners
- Diversify the company’s portfolio into new profitable business segments
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to align customer requirements with technical capabilities
- Provide regular reporting, business analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade fairs
- Support global sales initiatives and cooperate with sister companies within the group where applicable

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
- University degree in Business, Engineering, or a related
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or technical sales within a mechanical engineering or industrial manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of acquiring new customers and developing new business opportunities
- Experience in international markets
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand technical drawings, manufacturing processes, and engineering solutions
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Results-oriented with strong drive and ownership mindset
- Fluent English or German
