About the Role

As a Disaster Recovery Analytics Specialist, you'll be the guardian of our recovery capabilities, applying analytical rigor to ensure our resilience strategies are measurable, realistic, and defensible. You'll develop comprehensive oversight frameworks, collaborate with data teams to build insightful dashboards, and engage with stakeholders across the organization to align recovery expectations with technical realities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define recovery metrics - Create measurable indicators for RTO, RPO realism, backup completeness, and test effectiveness
- Establish analytical frameworks - Translate resilience standards into clear data rules that ensure recovery objectives reflect technical feasibility
- Enforce testing quality - Ensure DR testing covers full data scope with realistic failure scenarios, preventing superficial approvals when gaps exist
- Drive recovery transparency - Create visibility across critical services and their underlying IT resources, ensuring backup relevance and recovery dependencies are clear
- Develop data-driven insights - Work closely with Data Engineer and SMEs to define dashboard requirements and translate complex data into structured oversight views that drive decision-making
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement - Actively communicate with IT owners and domain leads to build understanding of recovery expectations and facilitate discussions on resilience trade-offs
- Validate vendor capabilities - Ensure SaaS and vendor recovery capabilities are documented and realistically reflected in DR plans

The Recovery Assurance & Analytics team is responsible for ensuring business continuity through robust disaster recovery capabilities across the enterprise. We combine technical expertise with analytical rigor to build resilient systems that can withstand disruptions. Our team works cross- functionally to implement and validate recovery strategies that protect critical business operations.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

- Strong Technical Business Analysis capability in IT or infrastructure-heavy environments
- Experience defining KPIs and control logic in complex environments
- Experience working with structured datasets and reporting frameworks
- Strong analytical structuring capability
- Proven ability to enforce follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills
