Head of Downstream Processes

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Downstream Processes who wants to contribute to the development of a new generation of medicines and have a real impact on the quality of the final product.
This role offers expert-level work in the purification of biological products, leadership of key processes, and space for innovation.

-Lead and optimize downstream processes (purification and product recovery)
-Manage chromatographic operations and filtration processes
-Prepare, monitor, and optimize buffers, product concentration, and formulation
-Support and execute Cleaning Validation activities
-Troubleshoot technical issues and set process parameters
-Collaborate closely with analytical teams on product characterization
-Implement and develop innovative purification technologies
-Support process scale-up from development to manufacturing

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
-University degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
-4–7 years of experience in downstream bioprocessing
-Strong expertise in protein purification, -chromatography, and filtration
-Experience with process development and scale-up
-Knowledge of large-scale chromatographic systems
-Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
-English proficiency at B2 level (working proficiency)
