Supply & Production Planning Specialist (m/ž)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

The Supply & Production Planning Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing supply and production plans for the Žilina Mill within the S&OP Process. The role ensures the effective balancing of customer demand, inventory targets, production capacity, and material availability while supporting operational excellence and ensuring efficient utilization of mill capacity.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning

Develop and maintain mid- and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts, inventory targets, and production capabilities.

Assess supply feasibility and identify capacity or inventory constraints.

Review inventory development, stock rotation, and warehouse capacity.

Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process.

Monitor supply plan adherence and initiate corrective actions when needed.

Coordinate cross-regional supply balancing scenarios when required.

Production Planning

Create and maintain short-term production schedules for paper making and converting operations including sequencing optimization.

Monitor production execution and adjust plans to address delays, constraints, maintenance shutdowns, or demand changes.

Ensure efficient utilization of mill capacity while maintaining service levels and inventory targets.

Operational Coordination and Performance Management

Prepare and lead weekly Mill S&OE and monthly Supply Review (S&OP) meetings.

Coordinate closely with Production, Demand Planning, Logistics and Customer Service.

Escalate supply risks and capacity issues proactively.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning processes and systems.

Maintain planning master data and ensure data accuracy across planning tools and ERP systems.

Track and analyse KPIs

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Mandatory 3+ years of experience in production & supply planning

Experience in FMCG is considered an advantage

Experience with integrated business planning processes is considered an advantage.

High level of ownership and accountability.

Ability to work with complex datasets and planning systems.

Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Mandatory knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP MM (Materials Management)

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience with planning tools (e.g. SAP IBP, APO, or similar) is considered an advantage
