QA Automation Engineer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a long-term project for one of our clients operating in the heavy machinery industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and scalability of complex software systems through automated and manual testing. You will work as part of a cross-functional agile team, collaborating closely with developers, product owners and other stakeholders.

As a QA Automation Engineer with us you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Python.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into automated and manual test cases.
• Work on testing of complex systems, applications, and integrations.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, including scope, objectives, risks, and deliverables.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute and report on quantitative and qualitative test metrics.
• Ensure testing activities are performed in a timely, repeatable, and effective manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

You should have:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python (required).
• 2+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases and frameworks.
• Knowledge of at least one test automation tool or framework (e.g. Selenium, Robot
• Framework, PyTest, Playwright).
• Experience with API testing (REST APIs, Postman, WireMock, etc.).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and take ownership of quality .
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
