EU Project Manager & US Project Coordinator

To keep our international projects running smoothly, this role combines both coordination and project management responsibilities – acting as the bridge between internal US and EU teams to ensure smooth communication, fast decision-making, and continuous project progress despite time zone differences. At the same time, a person on this role would independently manage selected EU-based projects (such as internal initiatives, tradeshows, or customer projects)

Core responsibilities:

EU-US Time Zone Liaison & Internal Coordination

• Act as the HQ-side counterpart to the US-based PM for all US projects.
• Receive updates, action items, and priorities from the US PM and translate them into actionable EU workstreams.
• Ensure project momentum during EU hours when US stakeholders are offline.
• Coordinate and track HQ based tasks across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, shipping, finance, warehouse, and solution creation.
• Cross-check HQ schedules, identify obstacles, and escalate issues proactively to the US PM team.
• Facilitate smooth handovers between EU and US teams.
• Manage and iterate resource planning with EU teams to meet US project deadlines.
• Keep stakeholders updated on progress and risks without waiting for US overlap windows.
• This part of the role is not client facing and is fully focused on internal coordination.
• Time flexibility (EU-US time-zones) is needed.

Independent EU Project Management

• Take full ownership of selected EU-based projects, including managing internal initiatives, contact with customer, operational improvements, occasional presence on tradeshows.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and close these projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams within the EU for successful delivery.

Requirements:

• Project management experience in areas such as technology/ manufacturing/ construction.
• Willingness to work in both EU/US times. Some days from morning but a lot of times to later afternoon. Details upon discussion.
• Tech-savvy and quick learner - comfortable using tech tools/apps/platforms in everyday job and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
• Strong project management/coordination skills, able to manage US timelines and multi-team projects.
• Highly organized, proactive approach to work strong communicator.
• Tech-savvy and quick learner.
• Active professional English.
• PM certification is a plus (PMP, PRINCE2).
