As a Senior Strategy & Operations Specialist, you will have direct ownership over local operations performance, with a tangible, real-time impact on the market. This is not an entry-level or generalist role — we're looking for someone who has already operated in high-pressure, numbers-driven environments and is ready to independently diagnose problems, build the case for change, and lead initiatives through to results.

Role Overview:

You will use data to identify structural issues in supply and demand for our ride-hailing operations in Slovakia, and translate those insights into concrete strategies and initiatives that improve marketplace performance. This goes beyond monitoring metrics — you'll be expected to dig into the "why" behind the numbers, build the case for change, and drive initiatives through to execution, working closely with HQ teams in Product, Legal, and Marketing along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing root causes behind supply, demand, or retention gaps using data — going beyond reporting to explain the "why"

• Structuring and driving projects to solve operational problems, from initial hypothesis through to implementation and measuring impact

• Analyzing and recommending strategies to strengthen the driver's value proposition, contributing to supply base growth, performance, and retention

• Building clear, data-backed business cases and recommendations to support decision-making, including with HQ stakeholders

• Identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities on a local level that may impact the business

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional HQ teams (Product, Legal, Marketing) to align on and execute key initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• 2-3+ years of experience in a highly analytical, fast-paced environment — management consulting, strategy, or a project/program management role in an international, fast-paced organization

• Strong quantitative and analytical thinking — comfortable building structured arguments from ambiguous or incomplete data

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas); SQL is a strong plus

• Demonstrated experience driving a project or initiative independently, ideally cross-functionally or with external stakeholders

• Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity — this is not a role with a fixed playbook

• Fluent/native Slovak and excellent written and verbal communication in English
