Database Engineer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Design and architect modern database environments for complex projects.

• Analyze and optimize databases at both the database and application levels, including backup and recovery strategies.

• Provide technical consulting to customers on sustainable database and service solutions.

• Independently plan and implement database-related projects.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Completed technical education (technical high school, university of applied sciences, or university degree) and several years of professional experience in database administration or engineering.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL administration, ideally complemented by experience with other database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or Redis.

• Interest in database automation and hands-on experience with tools such as Ansible or Helm.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized database environments, and infrastructure topics including storage, networking, and backup solutions.

• A collaborative, proactive mindset with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka or AMQ Streams is considered an advantage.
