MP&L Supervisor

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are seeking an experienced MP&L Supervisor to join our team in Nitra, Slovakia. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all on shift Health, Safety, Environmental issues arising including: - Full Safety incident investigation and corrective action implementation. Ensuring all employees understand the need for safe working, especially around (MHE) Material handling equipment (Tugger, FLT trucks and trailers). Ensure the adherence of site H&S procedures by external contract drivers.
• Responsible for ensuring inbound deliveries are received and tipped as per schedule. Achieving all internal KPI by allocating the correct resource and coaching Team Leaders to manage the day-to-day business using the business objectives. Manage the update of all Team board documentation to capture real time performance and identify improvements. Use the process to confirm daily activity is being carried out to achieve KPI.
• Responsible for identifying and implementing corrective actions for issues arising that affect the successful achievement of departmental KPI as well as specifying process improvements that will enhance operational performance.
• Responsible for representing the department at internal and external customer meetings. Communicate departmental shift issues and performance at team briefs. Attend team board reviews and board walks
• Manage Manpower resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and also Lean Manufacturing principles – including the implementation of CIP activity. Drive company Absence Control Procedures to ensure maximum attendance levels. Deal with all personnel issues on shift including interaction with the Trade Union, in line with Company Policy and Collective Agreements.
• Responsible for Managing the development and maintenance of accurate Standard Work documentation. Continually audit employees against the standard to drive process consistency. Use the process to Coach employees and Team leaders to maintain process standards while driving a zero-tolerance mindset for process deviation.
• Using and utilizing WMS/SAP/AOS systems properly to secure the production and delivery performance based on customer´s needs
• Identify departmental training needs using the company Training process (Training matrix, Gap Analysis etc) to maximize employee versatility. Capture all training with sign-off documentation.
• Drive Departmental Quality objectives. Carry out and complete full PPS activity and Root Cause Analysis for any Premium Freight, scrap costs or stock losses.
• Assisting production in engineering changes, production trials, model change and pilot build.
• Performs other tasks as per the instructions of the manager within the agreed type of work.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Your Profile:

• Minimum high school diploma (graduation required).
• At least 2 years of experience in team management within a production or logistics company.
• Fluent Slovak language
• English language skills  - advanced
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask, make informed decisions, and work under pressure.
• Understanding of relevant procedures, documentation, and company policies.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new knowledge and industry standards.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Thorough awareness of safety regulations and best practices.
