Freight Forwarding Operator - Air Transportation

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

​As a Shared Service Center Operator Freight Forwarding for Ocean Transports, you act as the backbone and focal point of our EU freight forwarding operations. You take care of shipments, status updates; manage internal customer related issues and all other questions, with the aim of informing our operations/customer service employees who have dealings with our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible by providing the internal organization with the necessary information.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Tariff uploads for   logistics;
• Issue quotes to customers;
• Help with /assist on onboarding new customers that have registered on Cello Square by guiding our CS employees;
• Upload bookings in Cello Square;
• Book shipments with carriers and local logistics providers;
• Create and share shipment documentation;
• Tracking and shipment milestone update;
• Shipment status reporting and KPI reporting for both internal operations and customer specific;
• Entry in  Cello Square;
• Communicate with all Samsung SDS offices both regionally and overseas;
• Resolve ad hoc situations;
• Validation & processing of suppliers’ invoices in internal systems;
• Issue and formal control of customer invoices;
• Tasks will be added or amended over time when the department will gain more experience and the scope of the team is increased.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

​• 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain environment preferably with focus on air transportation
​• knowledge of tracking processes is an advantage
​• communicative knowledge of English is necessary
​• good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PP)
​• Client-oriented
