DevSecOps Engineer

Our MS Data Services Team of Swiss Re is looking for an enthusiastic DevSecOps who is ready for an exciting career with us.

We do Infrastructure as Code and AI Ops. Our focus is on self-service multi cloud & amp; self-healing infrastructure, but we also enjoy data engineering. We are a highly skilled team in Bratislava that solves infrastructure and data pipeline problems from around the globe.

This is a temporary role to provide coverage during a maternity leave.

Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of requirements. If, however, you meet some of the criteria below and are genuinely curious about the world of multi cloud and data pipelines, we will be happy to meet you.

To be successful in the role, you need to have these technical skills and knowledge:

- Aware how to interact with API and CLI interfaces
- Experience in with Microsoft SQL databases
- Had exposure to or want to learn of programming languages Java, Golang or Python

If you have any of the following experience and interests, it is a huge plus but not required:

- Deploying code with CI/CD pipelines
- Background in software engineering or database design
- Writing docker files
- Experience with data transformation, data cleansing or data wrangling
- Experience of or curiosity about micro service architecture
- Savvy with or interested about machine learning, statistical modelling, etc.
