Senior Accountant

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

This is an independent, stand‑alone accounting role with SK territorial responsibility reporting directly to Finance Director CZ&SK and collaborating closely with the company management and peers.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure day‑to‑day accounting operations, in accordance with local and IFRS requirements, including statutory statements, tax returns and other reports.
• Prepare month- and year – end closing of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow with supporting documents.
• Maintain and validate accounting entries and reconciliations in areas such as assets, inventory, taxes, accruals, intercompany transactions, depreciation & amortisation, impairments.
• Support audits (internal and external), provide necessary documentation and implement post-audit improvements.
• Implement compliance procedures, ensure compatibility with internal policies.
• Act as the contact for the bank, prepare payment run, oversee cash movements.
• Process of staff expense claims.
• Collaborate with external payroll provider and HR Department on payroll accounting.
• Work as a partner advisor to others, provide proactive financial insights and support.
• Participate in budgeting, monitor budget performance and propose efficiency improvements.
• Foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

• Experience in a multinational company is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Helios ERP system is an advantage.
