Operations Purchasing Leader

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing leader who will take ownership of the plant purchasing function, supplier management, and procurement team leadership. This role combines strategic decision-making, operational excellence, cost optimization, and supplier quality management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your main mission

• Ensure efficient purchasing operations supporting production and new product development
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team
• Drive cost optimization and supplier performance improvements
• Act as the key escalation point for supplier quality and delivery issues
• Contribute to purchasing strategy and MAKE-or-BUY decisions

What you will be responsible for

• Managing purchasing processes, budgets, and procurement activities within the plant
• Coordinating material purchasing for production and new projects
• Leading supplier escalations and resolving quality-related issues
• Collaborating closely with production, quality, engineering, and other internal stakeholders
• Representing Purchasing during customer and IATF audits
• Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives
• Supporting purchasing KPIs and operational performance targets
• Approving contracts and purchase orders according to company authorization rules

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Logistics
• Previous leadership experience managing teams
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to build effective relationships across teams and suppliers
• Flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Advanced English – written and spoken
