Finance Manager

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

Our client is looking for a finance leader with a strong background in financial controlling, reporting and business partnering. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights. Experience in working with cross-functional teams, driving process improvements and supporting key business decisions will be essential for success in this role.

What will you do?

• Lead finance and controlling activities for the assigned business area

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial performance tracking

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely management information

• Identify variances, investigate root causes and recommend improvements and cost-saving opportunities

• Support business decisions through financial analysis and actionable insights

• Work closely with business leaders, finance teams and other key stakeholders

• Improve and simplify reporting, controlling tools and financial processes

• Provide financial support for investments, CAPEX and business development initiatives

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, reporting standards and deadlines

• Lead, coach and develop the finance team while promoting continuous improvement

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field

• At least 7 years of experience in finance, controlling, reporting or financial planning

• Previous people management experience or the ability to lead and develop a team

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, energy or multinational company is an advantage

• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance management

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or Power BI is a plus

• Fluent English, both written and spoken

• Strong analytical thinking with excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to analyse complex financial data, work to deadlines and explain financial insights to different stakeholders

• Proactive, reliable and collaborative, with a hands-on approach to solving problems
