In-House Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced In-House Lawyer who aspires to be more than a compliance checkpoint. This role is designed for a strategic legal partner who collaborates closely with management, commercial teams, and production departments to support business growth and safeguard the company’s long-term interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing the company’s full legal agenda
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documentation
• Preparing submissions, filings, and official statements for public authorities and courts
• Representing the company in administrative and judicial proceedings
• Monitoring legislative developments and providing timely legal analysis, including reviewing and commenting on draft laws and regulatory proposals
• Delivering well-reasoned legal opinions to support business decision-making
• Providing proactive legal guidance to various departments across the organization
• Supporting negotiations and participating in strategic projects
• Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of internal policies and compliance frameworks
• Coordinating and supervising external legal counsel where required
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior management

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Law
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience (experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage)
• Strong working knowledge of civil, commercial, administrative, financial, environmental, and labour law
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professional discretion
• Excellent analytical thinking and sound judgment
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong familiarity with Slovak and EU legislation
