Application Support Associate

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We’re looking for a motivated junior professional - ideally a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of IT experience - to join our well-established and supportive global team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn from senior experts, develop technical expertise in enterprise environments, and grow into a Technical Application Expert over time. 

You’ll manage critical applications for our clients in a highly regulated sector. You will gain hands-on experience with ITSM processes, cloud environments, and enterprise access management while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. 

Team structure and support coverage 

As part of a globally distributed team spanning UTC-6, UTC+1, and UTC+8 time zones, you will contribute to around-the-clock service coverage. This role might include participation in a rotating on-call schedule, providing support for critical P1/P2 incidents outside standard business hours after the training period.

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide Level 1.5 / Level 2 support for business-critical enterprise applications. 

• Handle Incident Tickets, Service Requests, user access management, and Active Directory / SSO. 

• Triage tickets and analyse application logs to identify root causes of reported issues. 

• Guide global users on correct system usage to prevent recurring operational issues, potentially deliver user trainings. 

• Assist in creating and maintaining operational documentation and runbooks. 

• Manage Incidents and Service Requests in accordance with ITIL best practices using ServiceNow. 

• Work closely with senior colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and learn system and application architecture.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Must have:

• A degree in IT or a related technical field (Fresh graduates are welcome). 

• Basic understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). 

• Technical familiarity with Server OS (Windows and/or Linux). 

• Basic understanding of ITSM / ITIL processes. 

• Hands-on attitude, analytical thinking, and a problem-solving mindset. 

• Strong desire to learn technical documentation and log file analysis. 

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken) to interact with global users. 

Nice to have (considered a big plus):

• Knowledge and understanding of databases (SQL). 

• Experience with User Access Management (Active Directory, Okta, SSO). 

• Experience with Low-Code platforms (Mendix) for root-cause identification is a strong advantage. 

• Exposure to Azure DevOps framework and Agile ways of working is beneficial. 

• Familiarity with regulated environments (GxP, ISO 13485) or standard operating procedures.
