Embedded Software Developer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer to take ownership of the platform layer supporting embedded and industrial software products. This role combines architecture, system-level development, and hands-on implementation with a strong focus on Linux environments, Yocto, and low-level software components.

You will work closely with kernel engineers and application teams to ensure platform stability, scalability, and long-term maintainability across multiple products.

• Design and evolve platform architecture based on Linux and Yocto environments

• Develop and maintain low-level libraries and middleware components in C/C++

• Manage and optimize OS build systems and ensure stable releases

• Improve system performance, scalability, and resource utilization

• Collaborate with development teams to define interfaces and platform behavior

• Support system integration between kernel and application layers

• Drive technical alignment across multiple products and teams

• Identify architectural risks and propose scalable long-term solutions

• Contribute hands-on to implementation in critical system areas

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• 5+ years of experience in embedded or system-level software development

• Strong knowledge of C and C++ (must-have)

• Experience with Linux-based systems and kernel concepts (must-have)

• Hands-on experience with Yocto build system (must-have)

• Experience developing low-level libraries, middleware, or platform components

• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design

• Experience with scripting and automation (Lua, Bash)

• Ability to design software architecture and own technical decisions

• Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration mindset

• English level B2
