Brightpick is reshaping the future of warehouse automation with our cutting-edge robotic solutions. To support our fast-growing operations, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth flow of our production process by managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing purchasing activities. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments, balancing cost efficiency, timely delivery, and quality standards.

Reports to

Manufacturing Operations manager

Core responsibilities:

  • Contacting and selecting suppliers
  • Working with budgets when ordering components and services for production
  • Negotiating with suppliers (including foreign suppliers in English) regarding price, transport, and delivery times
  • Conducting market research, evaluating suppliers regularly, and finding suitable alternatives
  • Reviewing inventory levels and placing orders to ensure production continuity
  • Managing inventory, creating and administering purchase orders in the ERP system, tracking delivery status, and reporting to internal customers
  • Monitoring costs and preparing cost reduction proposals
  • Creating reports and forecasts of future purchasing needs as assigned
  • Collaborating with other departments across the company
  • Purchasing and collecting goods from local stores when necessary

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Responsibility and attention to detail
  • Basic PC skills and experience with any ERP system
  • Slovak language – native, English – B1/B2 level
  • Technical mindset, ideally with PC and electrical knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
