Brightpick builds AI-powered mobile robots that automate order fulfillment in warehouses. As Delivery Project Manager, you own the customer project from the Sales-to-Delivery handover gate until the system is installed, commissioned, and formally accepted by the customer. You are the single point of accountability for scope, schedule, project P&L, and customer satisfaction — and the owner of every delivery gate in between.

Core responsibilities:

• Gate Ownership: Take handover at the Sales → Delivery gate and verify entry criteria. Own the project through each subsequent gate (design freeze, procurement release, shipment, site readiness, installation, commissioning, customer acceptance). Prepare/chair gate reviews and track open items to closure.
• Budget & Financial Control: Own the project budget and defend committed sale margins. Track actuals vs. plan in SAP (POs, committed/invoiced costs, EAC). Partner with Finance on revenue recognition, invoicing schedules, and cash flow. Monitor cost drivers (BOM, freight, labor) and quantify Change Request impacts.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Align with Engineering on design freeze, Procurement on long-lead items, and Warehouse/Inventory on stock allocation and SAP booking. Coordinate with Logistics on delivery sequencing and Finance on project accounting/WBS.
• Integration & Commissioning: Coordinate Brightpick–customer system integration (WMS/ERP interfaces, IT infrastructure). Plan and steer on-site work, coordinate installation crews, and drive the system through commissioning and customer acceptance testing.
• Contract & Change Management: Continuously cross-reference delivery scope against the contract to identify deviations early. Own the Change Request process (pricing, negotiation, approvals) and formally manage customer obligations/dependencies.
• Governance & Reporting: Run regular internal and customer-facing steering meetings. Report project financial health (EAC, margin, invoicing) to management and ensure all acceptance protocols are fully signed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of project management experience delivering complex technical or capital projects to external customers (automation, intralogistics, industrial systems, machinery, or similar). Experience with on-site installation and commissioning is required.
• Demonstrable budget ownership (carrying a project P&L, tracking cost-to-complete) and experience working within a stage-gate / phase-gate delivery framework.
• Proven track record coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, warehouse, logistics, finance, field service).
• Strong contract literacy to translate text into scope, obligations, and milestones. Hands-on experience with Jira, GanttPRO (or MS Project/Smartsheet), SAP or equivalent ERP, and Excel financial modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, finance, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20–30%, including US sites).

Nice to have

• Experience delivering warehouse automation, AMR/AGV, or robotics systems.
• SAP Business One or comparable ERP experience (project costing, inventory, purchasing modules).
• Familiarity with WMS/ERP integration projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA certification.
• Slovak or Czech language skills.
