O pozícii

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

The IT Systems Support role provides first-line technical support and day-to-day administration across the organization's Microsoft 365 environment. The role focuses on supporting user access, device provisioning, collaboration tools, basic security monitoring, and internal technical troubleshooting, while helping to maintain reliable systems, accurate records, and a positive support experience for employees. This is a hands-on role suited to someone developing their technical expertise across Microsoft cloud services, endpoint management, and internal IT operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

User Identity & Access Support:

  • Support routine user lifecycle activities within Microsoft Entra ID, including user creation, offboarding, group assignments, password resets, and access updates.

  • Assist with Multi-Factor Authentication set-up, troubleshooting, and user support.

  • Support senior administrators with basic system configuration activities, including app registrations, enterprise applications, and conditional access policies where required.

Endpoint & Software Management:

  • Prepare, configure, and deploy company hardware, including laptops, mobile phones, and desk phones, using Microsoft Intune and related tools.

  • Support remote device actions such as software updates, system resets, secure wipes, and decommissioning activity.

  • Monitor device compliance and assist with the application of configuration profiles and policies in line with company standards.

Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Tools:

  • Handle basic administrative requests across Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and the Microsoft Admin Center.

  • Support mailbox, file access, folder permission, and software licence administration.

  • Assist users with access to collaboration tools and escalate more complex issues to senior team members where needed.

Security Monitoring & Documentation:

  • Monitor basic security alerts within Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud Apps, escalating potential risks to the senior team in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, access changes, device status, and administrative updates within the Microsoft tenant and internal systems.

Hardware & Technical Support:

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and user access issues.

  • Troubleshoot laptops, office peripherals, and standard business applications, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.

  • Support internal users in a professional and service-focused manner, helping to minimise disruption and maintain effective day-to-day operations.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES

  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and common end-user support processes.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose, resolve, and escalate technical issues appropriately. Good attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining access, device, and inventory records.

  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with internal users, including non-technical colleagues. Organized and service-focused, with the ability to manage multiple support requests and follow defined processes.

  • Willingness to learn and develop deeper expertise across Microsoft cloud services, endpoint management, and IT security tools.

TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and the Microsoft Admin Center.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, device provisioning, endpoint management, and remote device administration is beneficial.

  • Basic understanding of identity and access management, MFA, permissions, and security best practice.

  • Exposure to Microsoft Defender tools and security alert monitoring is an advantage.

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications or technical training would be an advantage but are not essential.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in an IT support, service desk, systems support, or similar technical support role.

  • Experience supporting laptops, mobile devices, desk phones, office peripherals, and common business applications.

  • Experience working with internal users in a first-line support or technical troubleshooting capacity. 

  • Experience maintaining accurate records for hardware inventory, access changes, device status, and support activity would be beneficial.
