For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1800 and EUR 3000 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role and the applicant’s own profile including education/ qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

Are you ready to shape the future of digital advertising at a global reinsurer? At Swiss Re, we are expanding our EMEA Marketing Services Hub within the Branding and Marketing division and looking for a digital advertising expert who works at the intersection of strategy, data, and digital media to drive impact and visibility across diverse markets. Join us and take a leading role in executing paid media campaigns that engage our audiences and elevate our brand.

About the Role

As a Digital Advertising Manager, you will be at the forefront of executing and managing high impact advertising campaigns across digital and trade media. You will collaborate closely with business unit (BU) marketing teams, media agencies, and platform providers to drive campaign success across social, search, display, programming, and trade channels.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring you to plan, launch, and monitor campaigns, track budgets and performance metrics, work with and manage agencies, and ensure compliance with brand and data privacy standards. Your work will directly contribute to our brand visibility and marketing effectiveness across the EMEA region and globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop digital advertising plans aligned with audience strategy, segmentation, journey stages, and campaign objectives.
• Manage and execute paid media campaigns across LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms.
• Manage and coordinate media / advertising agencies to deliver campaigns across search, display, programmatic, and trade media channels efficiently and effectively.
• Track budgets, allocate spending across channels, and reconcile forecasts against campaign performance.
• Use dashboards and analytics tools to optimize performance and deliver measurable ROI.
• Stay up to date on the evolving digital landscape including emerging ad platforms, generative AI tools, and marketing automation technologies and assess their relevance and applicability to campaign execution.
• Ensure campaign compliance with platform standards, legal requirements, and data privacy regulations.
• Share best practices and campaign insights across the marketing community, strengthening our Center of Excellence in paid media.

About the Team

You’ll be part of the the EMEA Marketing Services Hub within the Branding and Marketing division. We support BU marketing managers across the region and globally in delivering consistent, efficient, and high-performing marketing campaigns. Our team works at the crossroads of marketing strategy, operations, and execution, fostering collaboration and excellence.

You will report to the EMEA Marketing Services Lead and work alongside experts in web, email marketing, social media, events, sales enablement, all within a dynamic and inclusive environment.

About You

You’re a detail-oriented marketing professional with a passion for data-driven advertising and scalable campaign execution. You bring deep expertise in digital media buying and a collaborative mindset that helps global teams thrive together. You are curious and energized by innovation, especially when it comes to how artificial intelligence, data, and emerging channels can redefine what's possible in modern marketing.

Essentials

• University degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in paid media strategy, buying, and execution across various digital channels.
• Solid hands-on experience with platforms like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize campaigns based on performance data.
• Experience working with media agencies on campaign planning, briefing, and delivery across social, search, display, programmatic, and trade channels.
• Strong interest in how AI can enhance marketing and advertising.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional regional languages are a plus.

Nice to Haves

• Experience building playbooks and internal guidelines for digital advertising.
• Passion for knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration.
• Previous experience in a regulated or corporate environment (e.g., financial services, insurance).
