Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Consultant to join our Supply Chain team in Slovakia. This role is ideal for a food safety and quality systems expert who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring the highest standards across suppliers and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor quality and food safety systems across suppliers and restaurants.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s global standards, specifications, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and consistency in product quality.
• Act as a subject matter expert in food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems.
• Support new product development, complaint management, and risk assessments.
• Provide training and coaching to internal teams and suppliers.
• Lead projects related to food safety, product quality, and process optimization.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

• Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field (or 3–5+ years of relevant experience).
• Strong background in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or product development.
• Experience with supplier relationship management and multi-site operations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (GFSI, FSSC, HACCP, GMP).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Strong project management, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across functions.
