Test Engineer - Automation & Manual

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a motivated Test Engineer to join our product development team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our enterprise solutions through a mix of manual testing and automated test development. Our applications are built on modern Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Azure, C# backend), and tested primarily using UFT and Postman for functional automation and API validation.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in testing who is ready to take on more responsibility in automation, while still applying strong analytical skills in exploratory and manual testing.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document manual test cases based on functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts primarily in UFT including integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to test planning, effort estimation, and reporting of results.
• Identify, report, and track defects; collaborate closely with developers and business analysts.
• Continuously improve test coverage and optimize existing automated suites.
• Support regression, integration, and acceptance testing activities.

Technical Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in software testing (manual & automation).
• Hands-on experience with UFT and Postman (or comparable tools).
• Good understanding of API testing, regression testing, and functional validation.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, test case design techniques, and defect management tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts (Azure DevOps or similar).

Preferred and desirable skills

• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Azure environments.
