IT Test Analyst

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Designs, maintains and updates test cases (based on analysis of requirements, specifications, knowledge of the systems under test)

• Designs test scripts for both manual and automated test cases. Approximately 60% of current TCs are executed manually

• Prepares effort estimations for testing requirements based on provided inputs

• Participates in the preparation of test data for the efficient execution of tests

• Collaborates in the preparation of specific test scenarios and test cases for load testing and other non-functional testing

• Collaborates in the analysis of the necessary setup of test environments

• Executes and analyzes the results of executed tests, and reports defects found to the person responsible for their resolution

• Evaluates acceptance criteria (for the preparation of the acceptance protocol)

• Performs post-implementation validations of changes to production systems

• Participates in the creation of test plans, test strategy, suggests test improvements

• Responsible for testing the application and its regular updates in all phases of testing in accordance with applicable standards

• Follows the agreed plan, methodology, standards and chosen test strategy

• Maintains all necessary documentation related to TCs and reporting of results.

• Provides support to team members and other teams by advising on the resolution of specific problems and the execution of acceptance tests

• Actively participates in problem solving in case of production incidents/problems

• Participates on internal and external projects

• Educates himself/herself in both software and testing techniques

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• minimum 1 year of banking experience
• good analytical and logical skills
• challenging and enquiring mind
• attention to detail
• understanding of common software failures and faults
• knowledge of the domain
• knowledge of the system or application-under-test
• experience in a variety of testing efforts
• good documentation and report writing skills
• demonstrated organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills
• Nice to have: SQL and Unix experience
