Senior Accountant

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Responsibility for the complete and timely preparation of the financial statements of three Bitcoin Suisse group companies

• Performing closing activities for reporting purposes (e.g. calculating and booking accruals)

• Preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual reports of various group companies

• Supporting the group consolidation and the preparation of the consolidated financial statements

• Preparing and coordinating the annual audit and acting as the central point of contact for the statutory auditors

• Performing various internal control and analysis tasks within Finance

• Coordinating the invoicing and recharging of intra-group services across the group

• Monitoring the accounts reconciliation process

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of HR-related expenses, accruals, and payables

• Supporting the accounting implementation of contractual agreements and the introduction of new products

• Updating critical parameterisation tables for the banking system to support the introduction of new products and tokens

• Various project-based tasks, including the continuous improvement and automation of finance processes or the build-up of further locations (leadership positions in these are also a possibility)

• Handling various ad-hoc accounting tasks

Online Personal Interview

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business/finance or accounting

• Sound knowledge of accounting (accounting standards) and finance, ideally deepened through further education (e.g. ACCA or equivalent)

• Several years of professional experience at an audit, accounting or fiduciary firm or in the finance department of a financial services provider

• Solid knowledge of ERP, accounting or banking systems and MS Office (especially Excel), as well as a strong understanding of the technical requirements of a finance department

• Motivation to continuously improve existing processes and adapt them to new circumstances

• A precise, independent, flexible and reliable way of working is a must

• A good team player who enjoys working in an innovative and dynamic company

• Fluent English, written and spoken; German is an advantage
