Data Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an experienced data professional who will play a key role in building and evolving a centralized analytics environment. The position focuses on transforming large volumes of data from diverse source systems into reliable, well-structured datasets that support reporting, analytics, and decision-making across the organization. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence, contributing both to backend data pipelines and to the analytical layer consumed by end users.

PRIMARY ROLE & JOB ESSENTIALS

• Develop, operate, and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing using distributed computing technologies (Apache Spark).
• Consolidate data from multiple operational and transactional systems into a unified analytical data platform.
• Perform data cleansing, normalization, and enrichment to ensure accuracy,consistency, and usability of datasets.
• Design analytical data models that enable efficient querying and downstream reporting.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate information needs into meaningful dashboards and analytical outputs.
• Build and maintain interactive reports and visualizations using modern BI tools.
• Monitor data workflows, proactively identify data quality issues, and investigate root causes of data anomalies.
• Maintain clear documentation of data structures, transformations, and dependencies to support governance and transparency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics standards, self-service reporting capabilities, and overall data architecture.

Zamestnanecké výhody, benefity:

• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala) for data transformation and processing is an advantage.
• Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report development.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and technologies such as Databricks or Delta Lake.
• Experience with version control systems and basic CI/CD concepts for data workflows.
• Exposure to data governance, metadata management, or performance optimization techniques.
• Comfortable working with both structured and semi-structured data sources.
