Senior Component Engineer - Team Leader (36.000-40.500 EUR/gross/year)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

Team Coordination

Lead a team of 4–8 Component Engineers, ensuring effective planning and workload balancing.

Steer team KPI performance, support data‑driven decision making towards management and ensure clear progress reporting.

Share knowledge and experience to support competence development across the Component Technology team.

Component Data & Lifecycle Excellence

Perform and oversee Bill of Materials (BOM) screenings for accuracy, completeness and manufacturability.

Execute and validate Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities, including EYTEOL evaluations, preferred alternatives and obsolescence strategies.

Maintain and continuously improve the Neways component database, including parametric data, preferred components and approved manufacturer lists.

Safeguard complete and accurate logistical and technical component information in the ERP and PLM system.

Ensure compliance with standards such as RoHS, REACH, PFAS and IPC/JEDEC in collaboration with the Quality, Environmental Safety & Health (QESH) department.

Stakeholder & Service Delivery

Provide technical advice for designers, purchasers, QESH, project managers and customers, including proposing alternatives in case of supply, manufacturability or availability constraints.

Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical clarifications, datasheet reviews and data validation.

Coordinate internal data routing together with IT and ensure high‑quality component data from external providers such as Siemens PLM and SiliconExpert.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

Coordinate and execute component-related improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimization.

Drive data quality assurance, documentation accuracy and adherence to the Component Technology Governance framework.

Promote standardization and harmonization of component data and processes across sites.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Fluent in spoken and written English, enabling clear interaction with stakeholders.

5+ years of relevant experience within the EEE component domain.

Strong understanding of component lifecycle, manufacturability requirements and component data quality principles.

Knowledge of international component standards (IPC/JEDEC, AEC‑Q, ISO/IEC, UL) and environmental directives (RoHS, REACH, PFAS).

Team coordination experience or at least potential to lead
