Contractor Assistant

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

Support the Safety Coordinator in construction and project activities in accordance with applicable legislation, internal standards and EHSQ requirements
Deliver initial EHSQ induction and training for contractor employees and maintain all related training records and documentation
Coordinate the contractor approval, onboarding and qualification process from an EHSQ perspective
Support the preparation, review and administration of Job Risk Assessments (JRA) and other project-related risk assessments
Conduct regular inspections of contractor workplaces and monitor compliance with established safety requirements and site rules
Record, investigate and evaluate contractor-related safety incidents and near misses, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
Support the implementation and ongoing compliance with Work Permit (WP),
Lockout/Tagout/Tryout (LTT), and other relevant safety systems and procedures
Maintain the contractor database and associated documentation, including the Contractor Manager app in Benchmark
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual contractor performance evaluations
Monitor and evaluate contractor KPI´s related to safety, quality, schedule, cost, effectiveness and productivity, and recommend improvement actions where required
Prepare regular contractor performance reports, statistics and presentation for management and Project Managers
Support the selection, assessment and qualification of new contractors
Plan, organize and coordinate EHSQ audits of contractor companies
Participate in external contractor audits and support the preparation of required documentation and evidence
Track the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits and inspections
Prepare documentation and supporting materials for contactor audits, inspections and compliance reviews
Support the preparation of HAZOP recommendations and monitor the implementation and closure of agreed actions
Coordinate communication between the project team, operations and contractors to support the effective implementation of agreed actions and recommendations
Organize and provide administrative support for daily, weekly contractor coordination meetings
Promote and support a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability and continuous improvement among contractors

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

University degree (Bachelor´s or Master´s) in technical, engineering, occupational safety or related field.
Professional qualification as Safety Technician (BT)
Professional qualification as a Fire Protection Technician (TPO) is an advantage
Good understanding of OH&S principles, contractor safety requirements and applicable OH&S legislation
Working knowledge of contractor management, workplace inspections and EHSQ audit principles
Good working knowledge of applicable Slovak Occupational Health and Safety legislation, particularly Act. No. 124/2006 Coll. On Occupational Health and Safety, as amended
Working knowledge of relevant legal requirements applicable to construction and related works, including Decree No. 147/2003 Coll., as amended
Awareness of applicable requirements related to workplace safety, risk assessment, use of work equipment, personal protective equipment and safe working practices
Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, JRA, WP and LTT processes
Basic knowledge of incident/near miss investigation, corrective and preventive action management and HAZOP principles
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and contractor organizations
Good MS office skills, experience with EHSQ or Contractor Management systems is an advantage
Ability to monitor, analyse and report contractor performance and relevant KPI´s
Strong planning, organizational, coordination and problem-solving skills
