Join us at Miele as a Demand Planner!
Join Miele as a Demand Planner and play a key role in shaping the supply chain across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Ukraine. You will work closely with international teams to ensure our products reach customers on time, while driving strategic decisions and continuous improvement in forecasting and planning.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain monthly and weekly demand forecasts using statistical tools, historical data, and market intelligence.
- Analyse sales trends, seasonal patterns, and promotional impacts to improve forecast accuracy.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product management to gather input and align forecast assumptions.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and make recommendations to improve performance metrics
- Manage product lifecycle forecasts including new product introductions (NPI) and end-of-life planning.
- Lead the monthly S&OP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance
- Prepare demand planning data and insights for S&OP meetings, identifying risks, opportunities, and required actions and facilitate demand consensus meetings to align on a single, actionable demand plan.
- Act as a key liaison between commercial and operations teams to translate business strategies into operational plans.
- Partner with inventory and supply planners to ensure optimal stock levels and service levels.
- Work with IT and data analytics teams to improve demand planning tools and system capabilities.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain planning, preferably in the white goods or consumer durables industry.
- Strong understanding of S&OP processes, forecasting methodologies, and supply chain principles.
- Hands-on experience with SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) or similar tool is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Fluency in Czech/Slovak AND English (spoken and written, at B2/C1 level).
