Data Analyst

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

BUSINESS KOŠICE, n.o. is expanding its team and is looking for a Data Analyst totake part in the implementation of the “Innovative Košice 2030” project, funded by EU funds (ERDF).

Your responsibilities:

• Management, analysis, and visualization of public and economic data within the implementation of the project’s main activities (mapping the business environment, Open Data Platform, development of the city development action plan).
• Preparation of data analyses and outputs for the creation of strategic documents and for supporting the innovation ecosystem in the Košice region.
• Collection, processing, and analysis of economic and socio-economic data for the Annual Economic Profile of the City of Košice (“Košice in Numbers”) as a key project output.
• Creation and development of the city’s economic data bank within the Košice Open Data Platform - technical preparation, processing, and publishing of data.
• Professional cooperation with partners from the public, private, academic, and civic sectors in data collection, validation, and processing within the main project activities.
• Development of interactive dashboards, analytical reports, and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences as project outputs.
• Technical support in preparing publications and presentations using data analyses and visualizations.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in data analysis, data visualization, or working with strategic data.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work with structured data (.csv, APIs), including data cleaning and transformation.
• Knowledge of public sector data and urban development is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data insights clearly and effectively.
• Education in economics, statistics, data science, or related fields.
• Interest in innovation, smart cities, or regional development.
