Business Analyst

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to support business and IT teams in gathering requirements, improving processes, and contributing to the successful delivery of technology solutions. The role combines business analysis, technical documentation, testing support, and collaboration with development teams in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.

Working model: 2x on-site in Kosice (or Trnava)

Start date: upon agreement

Cooperation:COW/TPP or B2B - freelancing

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements
• Prepare functional and technical documentation, specifications, and process flows
• Collaborate with development, testing, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Support software development and testing activities
• Participate in user story creation and backlog management
• Conduct market research and comparative analysis to support business decisions
• Support senior analysts with reporting, data requests, and analytical tasks
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Assist with validation, testing, and defect tracking activities
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of requirements

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Business Analysis, IT Analysis, or a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments

Technical Requirements

• Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction, validation, and analysis
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, especially in the context of system integrations
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with user story creation, backlog management, and requirement tracking
• Ability to create and execute test scripts; experience leveraging GitHub Copilot is considered an advantage
