We offer you the opportunity to join the Actuarial & Risk Cross-border unit which is an international team of highly skilled experts working on the full scope of actuarial activities within UNIQA Group. We offer an innovative opportunity to become a member of UNIQuant team that is responsible for a wide range of actuarial tasks in the insurance business across the UNIQA Group. The UNIQuants setup provides its members with the unique chance to learn, get insights and work closely together with the headquarters in Vienna. You will be part of a flexible team, which opens opportunities to take on dynamic, new business roles. You will work with leading data modelling software and drive innovation and efficiency in all our processes. Besides, you can look forward to continuous knowledge exchange with experts from international business units across the whole UNIQA Group.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Depending on your focus area and the available projects, you will additionally be involved in:
- Contributing to Prophet implementations for the models in the UNIQA subsidiaries
- Enhancing actuarial models with a focus on projection tools (emphasis: IFRS 17)
- Producing and validating IFRS 17 cash flows for the Life business in Prophet and analyzing, explaining and disclosure or IFRS 17 outputs
- Supporting life insurance reserving calculations in UNIQA’s subsidiaries (Solvency II, actuarial reporting)
- Know-How sharing within the Group / being part of a very strong international actuarial community

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
- BSc or MSc degree in Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or another quantitative field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Life actuary
- Knowledge in IFRS 17 and/or SII
- MS Office
- Experience in cash flow modelling software, preferably Prophet
- Proactive and reliable team player with developed problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Independent, customer-oriented and self-reliant working style
- Willingness to travel and remote working
