On-site IT Support Specialist (L1/L2)

Join our team as an IT Administrator and become the technical point of contact we can rely on to keep our office running smoothly and support the entire Klarstein team.

We are looking for an independent and hands-on person who will take ownership of our hardware and software and keep our IT environment running smoothly. If you are comfortable working with virtual environments, Microsoft 365 is familiar territory for you, and you would like to contribute to the implementation of new projects in close cooperation with our colleagues in Germany, you might be the right fit for us.

You are an ideal candidate for us if you understand that good IT support is about genuinely helping people – from solving technical challenges to being willing to roll up your sleeves and help with office reorganizations or moving equipment. In short, we are looking for a technically skilled and reliable team player who is not afraid of hands-on work and visible results.

What you will do:
• Administration of hardware and software, including troubleshooting technical issues
• Administration of the virtualization environment
• Backup of data and virtual servers
• Monitoring system performance and optimizing systems where needed
• Administration of an environment primarily based on Windows and Microsoft 365
• Participation in the implementation of new IT projects
• Ensuring compliance with the company's IT security policies
• Communication in English with our sister company in Germany
• Communication with hardware and software vendors and service providers

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
What we are looking for:
• You have good working knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• You have strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments and end-user troubleshooting.
• You have good knowledge of Active Directory administration, including users, groups, computers and basic Group Policy management.
• You have experience with user onboarding and offboarding processes.
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including users, licenses, Exchange Online and Teams.
• You have a good understanding of basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLAN concepts.
• You have experience troubleshooting workplace hardware, such as laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers and meeting-room equipment.
• You are able to independently diagnose and resolve common onsite IT issues.
• You have good documentation and ticket-handling skills.
• You are able to work independently onsite while cooperating closely with central IT teams.
• You have a hands-on and service-oriented approach.
• You are reliable and comfortable taking ownership of local IT issues.
• You have a structured troubleshooting mindset.
• You are comfortable acting as the local technical contact for remotely managed infrastructure.
• You are willing to learn technologies outside the immediate scope of the role.

Advantage
• Experience with Windows Server administration, including DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory.
• Basic knowledge of Azure infrastructure, virtual machines and networking.
• Experience with VMware ESXi environments.
• Basic knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Experience with SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager.
• Experience with WSUS and Windows patch management.
• Basic Linux server administration skills.
• Basic Microsoft SQL Server knowledge.
