Senior Accountant

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Processing and booking of supplier invoices, incoming liabilities and other supporting documentation; verification and posting of business trip settlements, corporate card clearing, and payroll entries

• Maintenance of the fixed asset register including depreciation runs, posting of provisions, deferred items and allocation of costs to individual projects

• Setting up payment batches and recording bank movements

• Compiling VAT and CIS returns as well as year-end statutory statements

• Balance sheet account reconciliations and completion of statistical questionnaires

• Day-to-day contact with counterparts inside and outside the company — tax office, external advisors, the finance team at group headquarters, and treasury

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• University degree (Bc.) in economics, finance, accounting or a comparable discipline; a Master's level qualification is welcome

• Minimum 5 years spent in a finance function, of which at least 3 in a comparable position within a multinational setting; background from a shared services environment is considered a plus

• Confident user of ERP software ; Excel at an advanced level

• Solid grounding in VAT rules and in double-entry accounting/financial principles (e.g. through a business administration background)

• English at C1 level with confident spoken and written expression; further language skills welcome

• Analytical mindset, cooperative approach, own initiative, and the ability to hold a conversation with people across all levels of the organisation
