Senior indirect buyer

We are looking for a proactive Indirect Buyer who will take ownership of purchasing indirect goods and services at plant level. In this role, you will be a key partner to internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations across HR services, facility management, maintenance, cleaning, and other indirect categories.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing activities for indirect goods and services (e.g. facility management, maintenance, logistics services, HR and professional services, IT, MRO, cleaning, and other operational services)

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories

• Identify, evaluate, select, and manage suppliers in line with business requirements

• Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and service-level agreements

• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, corporate standards, and legal requirements

• Support cost reduction initiatives, productivity improvements, and value creation projects

• Monitor supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, delivery, and service level

• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and translate them into sourcing solutions

• Manage risks related to supply continuity, contracts, and supplier performance

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis for indirect categories

• Drive continuous improvement and standardization within indirect procurement processes

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience in indirect procurement, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing environment

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills

• Good understanding of purchasing processes and cost structures

• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial and spend data

• Proficiency in MS Office tools; ERP systems knowledge (e.g. SAP) is an advantage

• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership
