Test Automation Engineer - senior (Open API)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

OpenAPI team is a fully agile, end2end delivery team in RPC, responsible for building, running and improving APIs which support several critical card business products and services for Raiffeisen banks in CEE/SEE.

APIs are becoming a key component for integration and data presentation within the Raiffeisen, and quality of deliveries and their automation is an important success pillar.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Definition of test scenarios based on business requirements and solution description
• Preparation and review of test scripts and test cases for automated night runs
• Execution of test scripts and test cases
• Preparation and review of test reports
• Handling test bugs and defects on all environments
• Close cooperation with developers within the team
• Support by integration testing with customers
• Support of less experienced team members and knowledge sharing
• Participation on performance testing

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Groovy, with a solid understanding of testing frameworks and best practices.
• Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries and understanding relational data structures.
• Practical experience with API testing tools, preferably ReadyAPI (or similar tools like Postman or SoapUI).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and how to test them effectively.
• Basic Unix/Linux command-line skills.
• Experience using GitLab (or other Git-based version control systems).
• Understanding of XML data structures.
• Knowledge of messaging and integration technologies such as MQ and Kafka
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to self-learn and effectively navigate and comprehend technical documentation.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (required for communication and documentation).
